When I read "plankton" I am basically thinking microscopic and very small organisms that are usually too small for any adult Pterophyllum... anemone and coral food, to put it some way. I know we can include larger organisms, some crustacea, such as mysis and krill... but I have never purchased commercial frozen or FD plankton.
This said, I am sure it is highly nutritious.
It's nice to hear from you. The plankton are sizable. One Altum is regrowing it's dorsal fin. The growth is astounding, usually growth of the fin exceeds the ability for the fish to begin showing color in regrown area.
Attached is an image of the FD Plankton, which may just be a trade name for adolescent krill.
