I am wondering if anyone has used the uv sterilizers from this place. Their lighting is affordable also. http://www.aquatraders.com/UV-Sterilizer-s/41.htm

I have two Jebao UV units (among a few others like Coralife and Aquamedic). The Jebao/Jebo and Odysseas are basically the same, probably the same manufacturer with a different label... in my opinion they are worth what they cost, the do their job.

Now, assuming the pumps you use are of equal rating, spiral UV's will always give more exposure time to the passing water and are therefore more efficient. I'm not usually too critical and don't mind using a slower rated pump on my straight UV units.

In short, I would buy an Odyssea if I needed one, if you can afford a spiral UV, Coralife Turbotwists are sturdier than Aquamedic Helix models, and I wouldn't go spending money on Emperors, Lifegaurds and such...
